Thinking

Today we meditate on the first Tenant of being a Knight of Moleskine, Spirit and Ale....THINKING!

"I am, therefore, I am, I think?"
-Moody Blues

“When people see some things as beautiful,
other things become ugly.
When people see some things as good,other things become bad.”
~Lao Tzu

"There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so."
-Hamlet, via Shakespeare (maybe?! lol)

What do you think?

ah ..the most important tenent.

THINKING

If you think you are beaten, you are.
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you'd like to win but you think you can't,
It's almost a cinch you won't.

If you think you'll lose, you're lost,
For out of the world we find
Success begins with a fellow's will -
It's all in the state of mind.

If you think you're outclassed, you are;
You've got to think high to rise;
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.

Life's battle doesn't always go
To the stronger or faster man;
But sooner or later the man who wins,
Is the one who thinks he can.

Aye! Well said Sir D! Conquering yourself is closely related to knowing your enemy...which more times than not, is yourself...when you fail to think you can!

That's a keeper of a poem!

Sir D, you MUST report with photos again this year.

Okay, so there are no rules here, so you don't MUST, but please share when you're feeling less foggy!
